Recently , just yesterday, heard a rattle , when shifting into drive or reverse. In park, there is nothing. Car drives fine.
We are trying to keep this car alive and just had tie rods, struts, battery, tires, strut cover and ball joints replaced. We use this for Dad to get him out every day as it's his old car and he loves it.
Someone suggested on getanswer.com ,this might be motor or transmission mounts. We will be going back to mechanic tomorrow, 9/24/07.

any help? ideas? what are we looking at for price? we have put in 1400 in one month.

mileage on transmission is 105,00 and 155,000 on car.
it is a small engine , I'm not sure of size.

whatever help you can offer will be appreciated.
