Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 93 merc tracer, I was driving on the hy and blew a bak passenger tire, the flat popped out my fuel shut-off switch. I looked in the manuel and it said tolocate the button in the truck and if it was popped outto push it back in. I did that and the car did not wanna sat after that happened. I was told to check the fuel pump might have gone out replace just the pump and still the car will not start. I was also told that after removing the fuel pump from the tank it loses pressure so I removed the cap from the frot and can't figure out i it has fuel pressure or not.... I hope that you guys can hep me cause I really need this car and it drove really good before the blow out... Thanks for your time
