1992 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 205000 miles
I wasn't getting compression. I removed the timing belt cover and saw that the cam sprocket wasn't moving when i cranked the engine, obviously the belt wasn't moving either. Is the timing gear on the crankshaft shot?

It could be or the tensionier may be bad. How old was the belt?
