1991 Mercury Tracer cooling fan
Engine Cooling problem
1991 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 32000 miles
The electric cooling fan does not operate with the A/C on or when the engine gets hot. The fan will operate, with the ignition switch in the off position, and I bypass the fan relay in the fuse box in the engine compartment. With the switch in the on position, and I bypass the relay, the fan does not come on. It appears there must be another relay in series that is being energized and opening up when the switch is in the on position.
Any help in trouble shooting this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
