1999 Mercury Station Wagon Mercury battery drain
Electrical problem
1999 Mercury Station Wagon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 137000 miles
I just replaced the 8 year old battery in my 1999 Mercury Sable LS wagon. During the final check they (Pep Boys) said I have a 222 MA drain in the electrical system, which their computer said was "acceptable". I did have an issue with the map lights, by the sunroof switches, coming on randomly, and with the "door ajar" light coming on when all doors were closed - again a random occurrence. I removed the two map light bulbs.
Should I be concerned with this drain?
