1993 Mercury Station Wagon fuel pump

Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Mercury Station Wagon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 162900 miles

My car cranks but wont start, before when i turned the switch on i could hear the fuel pump, and now when i turn the switch on I can't hear it. However I have checked all the fuses and they all show to be ok, i have not changed any of them but I have also checked the relay fuses under the hood, i have changed some around to check if maybe ones of the same amps were blown, but they show to be ok as well, it's like i am not getting power to the fuel pump though, so what could be the problem, thank you in advance.

the fuel pump itself may be shot. will need to use a tester and check the wiring at the pump itself to see if it is getting power.
