97 Sable failed smog test due to troublecodes

97 Merc Sable V6 DOHC 105,000 miles failed smog test due to Trouble codes P0761 Shift solenoid C Performance or stuck Off. Another code P1518 shows as well. Any ideas?

The shift solenoid problem should be taken to a trans shop to be looked at. The other code is for an intake manifold runner stuck open, there are vacuum actuators that open runners in the manifold under hard throttle, either the vacuum diaphram on one is blown or the plastic bushing on the end is broken allowing the rod to fall out
