Yesterday I got into my car in the parking lot. I started it, and instead of idling, the idle dropped straight down to nothing and the car stalled. I tried to restart it, and it would not stay running unless I kept my foot lightly on the gas. My husband poked around under the hood, and when he jiggled the air filter/air sensor area the car's RPMs increased and then dropped back to normal - at that point the car stayed running on its own. We drove 55 miles after that (commute), stopping 3 times (shutting the car off and restarting) with no problem - though the idle does not seem to be as steady as normal when in park, it fluctuates just slightly.
