Electrical problem
1999 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My daughter left the ignition in the on position. It was like that all night. The next day I turned it off and charged the battery. When I tried to start it it would not turn over. Under the dash on the driver side there is a little black box that makes a clicking noise when I turn the key and a red light on the box flashes. I think it has something to do with the alarm system (factory). Not sure can you advise please.
