1993 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic na miles

my car will not start it has full radiater and half a tank of gas, it ahas all the fluids, but it will not start.I have used gas tratment and starter fluid.I t trys to run and will run for a few seconds but then it dies. Can you tell me what is the problem?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specification if so, check for injection pulses by cranking the engine over

I do not know that much about cars. How do I check the fuel pressure and for injection pulses?
