My car check engine light came on when I was driving 1 day so after a couple days my temp gauge went to hot so I went to auto zone and my mechanic to get a diagnostic test ran on it. Both had the same trouble codes which said I needed an (EGR) valve and (ECT). So I had that done and added a little more anti-freeze but the gauge still reads HOT and if it keeps running you can hear the anti-freeze bubbling up. So I opend it to let the steam go out and my fans comes on but also the car blows out no hot air since that happen and im not sure what it is

Hi there,

Get the cooling system checked for external leaks with a cooling system pressure test, replace the thermostat and get the radiator core internally cleaned, start here.
