Engine Cooling problem
1998 Mercury Mystique 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

OUR FAN ON THIS CAR IS NOT KICKING ON WE HAVE DONE A COMPLETE TUNE UP, FLUSHED AND FILLED RADIATOR, REPLACED THE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR. WHAT IS OUR PROBLEM THIS IS OUR PRIMARY VEHICLE AS O FRIGHT NOW AND WE ARE ON A BUCGET AND DONT WANT TO HAVE TO PURCHASE 10 DIFFERENT THINGS AND STILL HAVE A PROBLEM. CAN YOU HELP?

Have you checked the fuse, relay and fusible link?

You replace the switch or the one wire sensor for the coolant guage.

Unplug it with vehicle running, does temperature guage change or stay the same?
