1976 Mercury Marquis Repair Question

'76 Merc Marquis
Car will crank but will not start. Will spark once and then nothing. Have compression, fuses are fine. Has new alt., reg., batt., starter. Any ideas?

Most likely a bad ignition module. Silver box on fender with 2 pigtails comming out of it.
