MY CAR WONT START. AT FIRST WE THOUGHT IT WAS THE BATTERY SINCE IT WAS OLD. AND THEY SAID IT WAS IN FACT A BAD BATTERY. WHEN I PUT THE BATTERY IN THE CAR EVERYTHING LIGHTS UP IN THE AND THE RADIO KEEPS TRYING TO COME ON PUT KEEPS CUTTING BACK OFF. AND WHEN I TRY TO CRANK IT MAKES THIS NOISE LIKES IT WANTS TO START BUT ITS NOT CONNECTING. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE PROBLEM.

Make sure your batt terminals are clean and tight
make sure your neg cable has a good connection to the engine.

Make sure the wires and cables that go to the starter solinoid are clean and tight

if all this is good, most likely starter is bad
