2002 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a 2002 mercury I have replaced the egr value,the egr control solenoid, hoses are clean. yet the check engine light still comes on I had the codes checked and it still says egr valve flow . Please help I need my car to pass emmission.

What was the trouble code you received? (p0100, etc...) This will help us better assist you with the problem.

p0104 indicates a fault with the mass air flow (MAF) circuit, not the EGR circuit... you will need to inspect for leaks in the intake system, faulty wiring to the MAF sensor or a faulty MAF sensor itself.
