Engine Performance problem
2002 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2002 mercury I have replaced the egr value, the egr control solenoid, hoses are clean. Yet the check engine light still comes on I had the codes checked and it still says egr valve flow. Please help I need my car to pass emmission.

P0104 indicates a fault with the mass air flow (MAF) circuit, not the EGR circuit. You will need to inspect for leaks in the intake system, faulty wiring to the MAF sensor or a faulty MAF sensor itself.
