2000 Mercury Cougar No dim head lights
Electrical problem
2000 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 70,000 miles
The alternator had been changed on this car. The low beam lights worked before this was done, but does not now. The high beams do work though. I swapped the relay in the fuse box from the low to the high beam lights and still no lights. I checked the fuses and then check the connectors for 12vdc, fuses are good but no voltage. If it was just one light, this may be easier. But I am confused on where to go since both are not working. Could you clue me in too what centralized area I could tear into, wheather it be the steering column at the dim/brite switch or a known connector or some other known area.
Thanks, Steve
