1992 wont start after adding brake fluid
1992 mercury Cougar 3.8

My car's brake pedal felt really soft and it took long to brake. I checked the master reservoir and noticed it was low. I added extra dot3 brake fluid, but when i tried to start, it didn't. It makes kind of a popping/click noise on the right side around the brake fluid reservoir.
