2003 Mercedes Benz SL500 Battery error message on dash

2003 Mercedes Benz SL500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 56000 miles
When I start my vehicle (when Cold) I get a message on dash saying, Electric Consumers are Offline. And the Battery symbol shows. I have noticed my heated seats and heater fan speeds do not work while this message is up. After I drive a few blocks the message clears and everything works fine. This has been happening for about two weeks now.
