Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1993 Mercedes Benz S500 V8 Automatic
Hey there, I have a 93 SE500 Mercedes A/T. I skidded my car up on the spot.. and now have a clunking noise thats not consistant, only hear it now and then. Backed up my drive, put it in drive, accelerated and then it just clunked.. Tried to push the car backwards while running, wouldn't budge, pushed it forward a bit, that allowed it to roll back without getting stuck. Now the car being in park doesn't hold as it rolls forward. Could this be a diff head or just an axle? Had the hubs off, nothing wrong with the springs, wheel bearings are fine.. Whats your advice big brother?!! I won't be doing a stand-still again.... Please help!!!
