The ESP Light is flashing constantly without Going Off.
When ever this light comes on the Gear disengages.

The ESP Light flashes continously and when the car is turned off the light gose off. Comes back after 10 mins and the gear would stop selecting automatically.

Transmission problem I think. But try that suggestion. I think it will work. If not, better go to a mechanic and let them check your transmission.
