Brakes problem
2002 Other Mercedes Benz Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The rotor on my '02 E320 all of sudden gave way. The only thing holding my rotor in place is the retaining bolt. There was evidence of metallic shavings and remnants inside the sleeve and rotor. What tools do I need to remove the retaining bolt and what do I need to put the rotor back in place and make it stable again?

The rotor is held in place with a torx style set screw. However most of the pressure that holds the rotor in place comes from the wheel lugs once you torque the wheel down properly.
