1997 Other Mercedes Benz Models jumped time

Hi there,

You Benz is chain driven cams and distributor cant jump a tooth under normal conditions, I would like to know what your original problem was, and I would suggest that you get a second opinion on this because if the timing chain has caused the timing to be out so will the cams, and to fix this is far more than what you have been quoted it look at it, go get the second opinion first.
