1994 Other Mercedes Benz Models Rear wheel bearing
My repair shop recently told me I need to replace a rear wheel bearing on the right side. I can't hear any rumbling or grinding noises. Shouldn't I be able to hear something if the wheel bearing is bad? How much should I expect to pay to replace a rear wheel bearing?

you dont always hear noise when the bearing is bad, it can be checked by jacking up the vehicle and wigglign the tire, if play is noted it needs to be replaced.
