The front, driver side stablizer bar is broken. In fact the bushing and the end of the bar itself fell off and cannot be located. A mechanic has suggested that instead of the high cost to replace it (due to extensive labor to get to it) he could instead purchase and install the bushing and then have a welder come in and fabricate and install the end piece. If this is truly a viable and recommended solution, how long can I expect the repair to last?
