1982 Other Mercedes Benz Models Blown Fuse
I have a 1982 300D. It has the 5 cylinder turbo diesel. It started blowing the #8 fuse (blower motor, a/c compressor, idle stabilization) when the climate control is being used. The a/c compressor was replaced about 1.5 years ago. I thought the two wires plugged into the compressor were touching. I fixed that issue, but the fuse still blows. Any advice on checking the rest of the system would be appreciated.

I would love to help you, but you are not telling me if the blower motor Works? you said you fix the wires on the AC compressor? did you fix them right? disconnect the AC compressor, try turning on your blower motor, and see if the fuse still blows, I will be waiting for your response.
