Brakes problem
2003 Mercedes Benz E500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 35328 miles

Only had this one owner E500 a week when the in dash message screen came up that the brakes required servicing and to take it to the nearest mercedes service center. The brakes were supposed to have been checked by the dealership that sold it (3 1/2 hours away) and they assured me they were OK. Curious if anyone else has had this message and what was the cause.
