The transmission on my 98' E320 died so I found somebody to replace it with an used one. After they finished, the car does not start. It seems the mechanics (obviously not the best ones) dont know what the deal is. Any idea? And also do you think if finally they managed to fix it, I shall sell the car as soon as I can? I love the car. Please help!

This could be a number of things as replacing a trans is not a small job. I would start with first going through and making sure all sensors are connected correctly. Make no wires look stretched to a sensor or are disconnected. Next check the mounting itself. Is there anything that doen't look right like gaps in mating areas (ie where the trans meets the motor). This may be an indication of improper installation. Also these transmissions have to be adapted correctly after they even work. I would highly recommend finding a reputable shop to take a good look at this.
