2008 Mercedes Benz C300 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 19,200 miles

I had my service B performed by an independent mechanic. We are unable to figure out how to reset the Maintenance Service Indicator. I have tried pressing the back arrow button on the steering wheel, but this only makes it disappear from view temporarily until I turn the engine off and on again. Once I start the car arain, the message is back again.

Key on, Display the Odo

Key off (mileage should still be there)

Press R button on cluster three times

Turn Key to Position 1

Press R Button three time (beep and then battery voltage should show)

Use Left side steering wheel arrow down to service

Use menu button (L side)

Scroll down to confirm full service and thats it!
So many way for all different models, try this one!

Unfortunately, you must have the wrong model. The only buttons I have on my steering wheel are up arrow, down arrow, left arrow, right arrow, with an OK button in the middle. I also have a separate button below the arrow pad which looks like a bracket with an arrow facing left. All of these are on the left of my steering wheel. The only buttons I have on the right of the steering wheel are for my cell phone. This is a 2008 C-300 Luxury 4-matic. Any other ideas?

The proccedure is in the owners manual, if you dont have a copy, the dealership would show you and probably at no charge.I do not have access to all things MB!

No, It's not in the Owner's Manual. The last time I went to the dealer for this problem, they chewed my ear off and threatened to charge me before finally showing me how to do it. The procedure they used last time doesn't work. If you can't help me, kindly refund my donation. Thank you.

One of the service managers as an "A-hole." The one I usually deal with is much nicer and is the one who ended up helping me. Still, I would rather not deal with them again unless I have to. I leased the car from another dealership in North Jersey. They are a good hour from my house, so I don't go there for service, although they are much nicer. Also, the dealership near me is only open 9-5 Monday thru Friday, which means my work schedule does not allow me to go there for anything major. They also want you to leave the car there and won't do anything while you wait, so that's another problem.

In answer to your question, I have a 2008 C-300 4Matic Luxury model. Hopefully, you can find the answer to my question.
