2004 Mercedes Benz C230 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 52000 miles
After installing a new alternator the engine tries to turn over. The belt seemed tighter than when I had removed it. I removed the belt and the engine turned over immediately. I replaced the belt and double checked the routing. The engine tried to turn over then stopped. Now the starter cylinoid is not engaging at all. The battery is fully charged.
