Brake pad replacement
Brakes problem
1998 Mercedes Benz C230 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 72,000 miles
I was recently told by an automotive repair center that when new brake pads are installed on my Mercedes that new rotors also have to be installed. Is this true with Mercedes' ? In the past, with other vehicles, I've been able to simply have the rotors turned unless they were worn too thin from previous turnings.

Hi there,
There is no reason to replace the rotors if they are still with in the thickness tolerance.
