The believe the radio needs to be reprogramed. It's not playing radio, cd, or anything. How can this be reprogramed.

I had this happen the first time that the battery on my 1998 was disconnected. There is a 4-digit code that is entered into the radio. This is an anti-theft measure. I was able to get my code from a Mercedes dealer and they should show you how to enter it. Takes less than a minute to do once you know the code.
