1997 Mercedes Benz C230 1997 C230 Gas Drips When I Pump Gas
1997 Mercedes Benz C230 4 cyl Automatic 134,00 miles
When I pump gas into my car, gas drips down from the area where I put the nozzle into the gas tank, in the right rear tire area. By the time I drive the car around the corner to my house, it is not leaking, but when I pump the gas in, it leaks for a few minutes. Frightening. What could it be, the part that connects the gas tank to the gas receptacle that I put the gas pump nozzle into maybe, the actual gas tank, etc. What expense range am I looking at? All maintenance is regular, it is a very well kept car, this just started. I don't want it to explode. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance.

I also have the same problem on the same side with my mileage at 130000. Have you found from other sources an aswer to this problem?
