2005 Mercedes Benz C200 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 20000 miles

hi there,i have a c200cdi elegance,as im driving the car is loosing power and doesnt seem to be boosting,when it does boost i hear a seemingly loud rush of wind,the car is still driveable but has given me the code po299 which relates to a waste gate,someone told me this is located in a pipe,and thats my problem i dont know which pipe,please help if u can
