Engine Mechanical problem
2003 Mercedes Benz C180 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 88,000 miles

Hi, I was driving at 50KM/H, and suddenly i saw the ENGINE DIAGNOSTIC LIGHT come on the dash. (yellow light shaped of an engine).

I felt the car started to misfire, felt less power then usual. and more misfire on higher revs.

I have no idea as to what it could be.

after a while, I switched it off, and switched the car back on. The light was still ON. I took off gently and felt no misfire, after pressing the accelerator more, to give me more speed, i felt it misfire again, shaking the car too. after a while i stopped the car, and i felt the car shaking.

Please please help me. Im very worried. Is it something serious?

I recently got it serviced. came back with no problems found.
