1995 Mercedes Benz C180 flat battery

1995 Mercedes Benz C180 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 144000 miles
Hi. Have a flat battery. I only have one key, but this doesn't seem to unlock the boot, although it does open the passenger door..... Q. How do I gain access to the battery in the boot?
