2000 Mercedes Benz 430e

before my engine crank excessively. Than the mechanic told me they had a loose neutral near the fuel pump. than they fix it . now the problem is reacurring. i sprayed started fluid in the air intake to get the car to start and now it not starting at all. it just crank excessively, but wont start.
