1996 Mercedes Benz 420sl 237,00 miles

I think I got some bad gas about a month ago, my car stalls it backfires putt putt noice and sluggish at times and it jerks when I'm driving. I put some stp treatment in it and some mercedes treatment, I've been going to the same gas station tried a couple other ones in between. problem seems to be getting worse.
