1989 Mercedes Benz 300e Overheating problem
Engine Cooling problem
1989 Mercedes Benz 300e 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 144000 miles
Recently my car temparature has been getting hotter than normal. It has always been at 80 degrees celsius, with 90 degrees being the midpoint. The car temparature gage is from 40 to 120 degrees. I checked for any leaks on water pump and all hoses, there are no leaks. I also checked the fan, and that's working fine. When I move the car 30 to 70 mph, the temparature stays at 80 degrees, but when I am moving slow in traffic, the temparature goes to 100. Not overheating, but cars engine is hotter than normail. What cold be the problem?
