1988 Mercedes Benz 260e keep cuting off
Engine Performance problem

runs will good but cut off when i press on the gas at 400 rpm

My 1989 E260's (bought used car) cruise control not working. Even the mechanic couldn't trace it ? How can I repalce the full unit ? or any other solutions ?
