1987 Mercedes Benz 260e lost key;locked trunk,glove comp.&a
Interior problem
1987 Mercedes Benz 260e 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
having lost my regular key to this carI have been trying to use the "mechanics key" which opens all entry doors, but will not open the trunk, the glove compartment or the door over the gasoline intake. Please HELP; the tank is on empty and the car is useless. thank you so much. I hope that you can open these things for me without having to destroy the car. brigitta dupre'

M/B is very picky about keys.If you give them the VIN# and proof of ownership(copy of pink slip), a copy of your drivers license,first born (just kidding) they will have a key made for your car that wont require anything be ruined on the car.Call your local M/B dealer and ask them about it.
