2004 Mercedes Benz 220cdi Driving computer

Computer problem
2004 Mercedes Benz 220cdi 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 190000 miles

Recently, I had an accident and was hit by another car at the right side.
The damage was fixed, but I discovered that the driving computer has been disappeared from the menu. The insurance company told me that this has nothing to do with the accident.

The situation is that: I had the driving computer work before the accident and now it doesn’t work after the accident. How can I prove this?

Can parts from the driving computer be damaged from such a crash?

The driving computer monitors the entire vehicle there is probably 100 different electronic modules and that Mercedes any of the modules could have been damaged causing the computer to malfunction, you will probably have to take it to the dealer they will be the only one that can prove the accident caused the computer malfunction
