1988 Mazda RX-7 SE 114,000, 1.3L
Hello People, my problem persists of not accelerating. Its starts and idles, but when I go to pull out, it stalls out? and I have no idea how to go about finding the problem?
This is my first rotory car and I don't really wanna get rid of it becasue I'm ignorant to it. please help!!
Oh, when I bought the car it had a motor swap from a gxl or gxe model. But managed by the se model computers. Could this be causing problems??

First check the compression. Those had carb issues where the diaphram would let go and the secondaries would open at low throttle. Also loosen the exhaust before the cat converter, noisy but if the cat is plugged, the car will run

1988 mazda rx7 se 114,000 1.3L You say carb. As in carburator? I only ask because my rx7 is fuel injected. as for the exhaust i had a custom 2.5" installed from the manifold to the back. replaced everything, since then i've only driven the car about 1,000 miles before this problem occuried.
