Engine Performance problem
1985 Mazda RX7 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 135,00 miles
Hi i have a 1985 mazda rx7 1.1L i am having problems holding a idle at 1000 rpms. its barely staying alive when i am sitting at a red light but when i am moving it is fine. I do hear a ratteling noise under the front passenger side area of the engine. I was wondering maybe if you could help me find the problem. I was also thinking of putting in a new engine but i dont know what i should upgrade to i was thinking of a twin turbo but a single turbo is fine too. What size would be able to fit in there can a 13btt fit in or a jdm 20b 3 rotor twin turbo fit or a 13b-re twin turbo fit?I want to get more horse power than what i have now. This would be my first project car and i want to make sure everything goes in good and no problems.
