I just had the:

timing belt change
Water pump
spark plugs
coil packs on 4 and 2 replaced
spark plug wires going to 1 and 3
The camshaft sensor was at 80 and regaped to 30 thousands...???
OIL changed
Fuel pumps cleaned about 3 times in the last month.

My problem is when I drive around town cylinder 2 misfires at random times

The code read out is
P0302 - CL-2 does not blink, only goes solid

When I go in the mountains cylinder 4 misfires.
The code read out is
P0304 OL-1 when 4 misfires...bty the check engine flashs until I pull over then it goes solid.

No other codes reported.

Sitting at idel the car vibrates to a point of anoyance.
Very rough idel...
it's like I am feeling a sub woffer going boom..boom..boom..ect ...pardon the sound effects. HAHAH

The shop check the timeing belt and that did not slip. everything is lined up and perfect. No charge by the way. The shop doing the work has a great rep around town. They are trying everything possible to fix the issue. But, nothing seems to make the problem go away, The shop and I do not know what the problem could be???

Get the car back today, drove around town, and the check engine light went off. Guess what P0302 again!

does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for your help and input,

Dude

I cant say i got a solution but rather i have the same problem, i tried changing my EGR valve and that didnt work, i also changed the wiring to my distributor, also didnt prevent it and the vibrations are rather annoying i feel like my car is going to stall.

Thanks,

I am glad to not be the only one out there with the same problem.

Do you get the misfires on spark plugs 2 and 4?

We are thinking the mass air flow sensor might be the issue???? Anyone tried this one?

Thanks,

Dude
