while I drive, my O/D light flashes and then I feel the car give a kick back. As if it jerks back. Whats wrong?

That is the PCM telling you it has recorded a failure or other problem in the transmission. Take it to Autozone (they scan for free) and have the PCM scanned, get back to me with the codes
