1973 Other Mazda Models Rear blinker

1973 Other Mazda Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 100000 miles
Hi, I have a 73 model Capella /616 or rx2.
The driver side rear blinker is not working.All other lights & blinkers are working.
I put a test light on blinkers globe holder and put an extra earth wire from globe holder to earth and the test light is flashing and beeping while blinker is on.
But when globe is fitted its not working I have tried many globes and spare tail light but still no good.

my first guess is that the holder does not have a good ground.
or the contact between the holder and the bulb is not giving the bulb a good ground.
