1994 Mazda MX6 Engine Knocking
Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Mazda MX6 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 141000 miles
I have a 2.5L V6 24 Valve. I have noticed that there is always a knocking on the passenger side of the engine. It never goes away or gets louder or quieter. It always stays the same no matter what temperature the engine is at. The vehicle does not use any oil and i only run synthetic oil in it. I have taken it on trip to California with noise and its goes to Yakima, WA every month with no problems. Runs and drives fine but the knocking noise is still there. I have had the lifters cleaned and that didn't change anything. I have had a mechanic tell me that it is a bad internal engine bearing. What do you think the cause of the problem might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
