Electrical problem
1993 Mazda MX6 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 45-50k miles
Hello, I drive a 93 mazda mx6 with a 2.5l dohc v6 (jdm). I was getting onto the freeway yesterday and my car just died as if I had turned the key off. I coasted to the shoulder and tried to start it and it would turn over no problem but wouldn't fire. I had my timing light in the car so I hooked it up and held the trigger while I turned it over and no spark. I tried it on all ignition wires and nothing. My distributor has a built-in coil. Does this mean I have to replace the distributor? Could it be something other than the distributor? Thank you for the help!
