Thanks,

What version of pcm does it have? EEC-IV or EEC-V. Either you will have to have an OBD tester or an OBD II tester. And btw, there is about 100 codes that can come out of the PCM. Good luck

I have the diagnostic codes. I found some information on the web about using the diagnostic port under the hood next to the fuse box and turning your key to accessory to retrieve codes. If you short out pins ten and ground, then turn your key to accessory you will get some codes by counting the blinks of you engine light. I have retrieved 23, 24, and 25. My car is a 95 so OBD II will not work with my car, OBD II is only good for 96 and newer. But I have searched everywhere and cannot find a code list. I was told by a local repair shop that the codes will be from 02 to 46. But he couldn't help any further. (Or should I say wouldn't help any further.)

Thanks,
Murel

Ctually, depending on the model and the build date. It could be either OBD I or OBD II. Is there also a port under the steering column of the dash. Also, what engine do you have in your car? Is it the 2.0L 4 cyl or the 2.5L v6? There are alot of codes and even the tranny would be a help.

Cosmo.

P.S. Why don't you take it to the dealer. The engine light being on does not mean the one or another sensor is faulty. Its more of a guid to an area that has a problem.
