1993 Mazda MX3 no reverse

My car will drive forward but it wont roll back and wont go into reverse and ive had numerous mechanics look at the car but nobody can figure out the problem. Im stumped

If the gear shift linkage is properly adjusted and won't move in reverse gear you have an internal problem with the transmission. Get it pressure tested to find out what's causing it.
